Senator Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State, pledged on Thursday to reduce the cost of governance and luxurious lifestyles in order to tackle the state's economic and security difficulties.
Furthermore, the governor authorized the newly appointed state commissioner to utilize their former automobiles as official vehicles.
He remarked that the moment was one of urgency, necessitating difficult decisions in order to survive.
In addition, the governor established a Trust Fund to help the state's poor and vulnerable residents cope with the loss of oil subsidies, offering to contribute 50% of his salary to the fund.
Sani, who said shortly after the new Commissioners were sworn in and administered the oath of office at Sir Kashim Government House in Kaduna on Thursday, admitted that the state was facing economic and security difficulties.
"We count on you to bring your experience and competence to bear on state governance," he said. You are joining our administration at a time when we are facing significant economic and security difficulties. To solve the difficulties, creative and novel approaches are being developed.
