I’ll beat Whyte, Joshua boasts

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has vowed confidently that he will win his highly awaited rematch against Dillian Whyte on August 12 at London's iconic O2 Arena.

When asked about their previous fight in 2015, which Joshua won by seventh-round stoppage, the Olympian said that he still vividly remembered Whyte's powerful left hook.

"As I'm about to throw a right hand, you should sit back on your back foot and rotate to gain leverage." I leaned over my front hand, putting myself in the firing line, and bam! "I get hit with a left hook," Joshua explained to DAZN.

He admitted that he didn't see the blow coming because he was too focused on assaulting Whyte to anticipate the counter. The thunderous left hook shocked him to his core, leaving him with a memory that motivates him to this day.
